About Me
My name is Jeannine Brown, and this is my sixth year as a librarian and my second year as the library media specialist at Lakeland Elementary School. Before coming to Lakeland, I was the librarian and tech co-ordinator at Balmoral Elementary with Memphis City Schools. I have also taught first grade, third grade, and remedial reading in the Shelby County School system and in several private schools. I have a master’s degree plus 45 hours. I am certified in elementary education, reading instruction, and library media instruction.
